It started in 2009 as a one-person show, helping dear friends when they traveled.
Jennifer had spent years traveling and building a career in politics, business, and communications. After losing her own dog and cat, she began caring for friends' pets on the side. The conversation changed fast. Friends kept asking, "What are you doing that is different?" Their dogs were happier, less anxious, better behaved, and their coats looked amazing.
Out of those conversations came a desire to Elevate The Care™ for our furry companions on a larger scale. Jennifer built her first pet care company in Washington, D.C. from the ground up, one member at a time, one day at a time. It grew to seven figures, was named a Top Pet Professional by Washingtonian, was featured in The Washington Post and Martha Stewart Living, and she sold it. Friends in Palm Beach kept asking her to start again here. Palm Beach Dog Sitter was born.
Jennifer's background in presidential advance shapes how we plan: walk the route first, prepare for every scenario, and make the day look effortless. She is an integrative pet health coach, works with leaders in integrative and proactive veterinary care, writes Integrative Pet Parent, and is a licensed pilot. Her book, From the White House to the Dog House, is in the works.
